Maskborne

Maskborne is a dark, hand-drawn Metroidvania set in a strange world where death has disappeared. Fight twisted creatures, uncover long-lost secrets, and befriend strange characters on a journey to restore death to a world that has forgotten how to die.

Collect rare ingredients and combine them to create Boundlings - small but powerful creatures that grant unique abilities. Find new Boundlings, experiment with their powers, and customize the way you fight, explore, and traverse the world.

Venture through forgotten ruins, ancient forests, flooded caverns, and dark crypts as you piece together the history of a broken world. Discover why death disappeared, what was lost when it did, and the role you must play in bringing it back.
