Bros of Bench

Bros of Bench is a 2D cooperative platformer where two players form a barbell.

Each player controls one end of the bar, forming a unique physical system: you can spin each other, propel one another, or change the distance between you. This constant connection forces you to coordinate to overcome obstacles.

A Unique Physical Cooperation

In Bros of Bench, cooperation is not optional: it is mechanical.

• Spin your partner around you to clear obstacles
• Adjust the length of the bar to adapt your movements
• Synchronize your actions to survive the most demanding traps
• Alternate between precise control and jetpack-style propulsion

Varied and Dangerous Levels

Progress through environments filled with traps and mechanisms:

• Horizontal and vertical moving platforms
• Wind and environmental forces
• Turnstiles and giant wheels
• Timed doors activated by buttons
• Spikes, blades and synchronized traps
• Giant worms, spiders, Final Boss
• Technical caves and narrow passages
• Every situation requires communication, timing and mastery.

Two Complementary Game Modes

Alternate between two gameplay styles:

• Barbell Mode: physical cooperation and rotations are at the heart of the gameplay
• Propulsion Mode: a more dynamic style where you launch yourselves into the air like a jetpack
• This alternation breaks the rhythm and forces players to constantly adapt.

Bros of Bench is designed for local and online co-op. Success depends entirely on your coordination: one wrong move, and the whole duo falls.
