About

Death retired. The lawn didn't.

After an eternity of reaping, the Grim Reaper has hung up the scythe for something gentler: keeping the parish graveyard. The Groundskeeper is a cozy, spooky chore game about tending moonlit cemeteries, one plot at a time — and about the spirits who notice someone finally cares.

Tend the grounds

 • Ghost Mower — glide through long, overgrown grass and leave neat, short turf behind you.
 • Spray & Brush — scrub moss, lichen and soot from weathered headstones with a bottle of holy water until every name reads again.
 • Leaf Basket — draw drifts of autumn leaves into your wicker basket and haul them to the compost bin.
 • Flowerbeds — pull out the dead stalks, soak the soil, and watch rows of snapdragons burst into bloom.
 • Hedge Shears — clip scraggly bushes, snip by snip, into one of five spooky designs.

Fifteen plots, three grounds

Work your way from The Old Yard, a crooked little village churchyard, through the long rows of Chapel Row, to the windswept crypts of Crypt Hill. New chores arrive gently as you go, and every visit lays the plot out fresh — headstones, trees, flowerbeds and hedges are never in quite the same place twice.

The dead have stories

Finish a plot and linger a while: a spirit may rise at a grave to talk. Twenty ghosts wait to be met — some funny, some sad, a few deeply unsettling — and every conversation is kept in your Ghost Journal. Replay plots to find them all.

Grow your craft

 • Earn Grave Coins for every chore and spend them on ten upgrades: wider mower decks, a stronger spray, a deeper basket, faster boots, and gardening gear for the flowerbeds.
 • Adopt spirit companions — a ghost cat, a crypt bat, a faithful hound, a grave wolf, a churchyard serpent and a spirit tiger — who follow you around the grounds.
 • Chain chores into a streak for bonus bounties.

Or race the clock

Time Challenge mode turns every plot into a speed run, with Bronze, Silver and Gold targets, best times, and medal rewards to chase.
