About
A case isn't solved by looking. It's built.
You are a field agent with the Criminal Investigation Unit. There's no forensics team waiting at the door and no partner pointing you at the next clue. You have a camera, a UV flashlight, a book of evidence labels and an office with an empty board.
Chains of Clues is a first-person criminal investigation game. Every case file opens on a scene you can walk inch by inch, and closes when you write a name under the word "perpetrator". Everything in between is your work.

The Procedura
I · The scene. Cordon it off, walk it, document it. Photograph every trace before you touch it, tag what matters, use ultraviolet light to find what isn't there in plain sight, raise latents with spray, cast a footprint. Some evidence sits off the obvious path: walk past that room and that evidence never existed.
II · The archive. Back at the office, your computer opens the autopsy, ballistics, bioforensic, financial and scene reports; the CCTV dumps; and the file on every suspect — height, weight, handedness, shoe size, vehicles, debts, licences, legal status. Print whatever you need, as long as you still have ink.
III · The board. This is where the case starts to exist. Pin cards, photographs and reports, connect them with red string, flag what doesn't fit and rebuild the timeline. The game won't draw the link for you: you build the chain by hand.
IV · The accusation. When you believe only one name is left, open the Solve module and sign it. Nobody confirms it beforehand. A case ends Solved or Failed — and being wrong costs money.
Cinco expedientes
