Pray To The Darkness

Intertwined Fates

Pray To The Darkness is a story of Mark, a man who has lost absolutely everything: his family, his daughter, his home, his job, and his very identity. The choice is yours: guide his path toward redemption, let it all drift away, or plunge his life into even deeper chaos. Time is ticking, and some tragedy is already beyond saving. The tenants of this place endlessly shape one another’s destinies. This apartment complex hides far more horrifying secrets than meets the eye — and everyone is keeping something from you.

A Shared Trial

You are running from your past. A new city — the only place in the country of "NOWHERE" where people manage to break free from addiction. But with your arrival, the delicate balance shifts. You hear the pulse of blood echoing around you while withdrawal crushes your mind harder with every passing hour. A mysterious deity known as "I" grants you one final chance at salvation, while alternative versions of yourself from parallel realities reach out to guide your hands (or drag you into the abyss). You hold all the tools, but how to use them is entirely up to you.

You have merely five days to reinvent yourself — or burn your life to ashes.

Key Features:

• Time Plays Against You: Every minute of the 24-hour cycle matters. Day turns to night, and events inside the apartments will unfold with or without your presence.
• Dynamic AI & Interconnected Destinies: The residents aren't static NPCs. They follow their own routines, build relationships, evolve, or perish based on their choices and your interference.
• Living Horror Environment: What should be inanimate breathes, throbs, and watches. The Grim Apartments building is a living organism with its own health, mood, and secrets. Unravel them before it unravels you.
• Brutal Addiction & Sanity System: Addiction grows relentlessly each day, triggering heavy withdrawal symptoms and draining your sanity. Manage health, hunger, sanity, and addiction to maintain control over reality.
• Battle for the Body: Five alternative personalities of Mark fight for control over your mind. They offer advice, hijack dialogue choices, and influence your actions — leading you toward virtue or corrupting you into deeper sin.
• Death is Not the End (But It Demands a Toll): The god "I" won't let you die easily. Each resurrection restores your soul, but pays for it with someone else's life — destroying relationships, worsening tenants' fates, or erasing people from existence entirely.
• Deep Branching Paths & Hidden Karma: Every moral decision, act of kindness, or lapse in willpower alters your hidden Karma rating, steering Mark toward dozens of distinct realities and endings.
