The process of detecting, identifying, and fixing glitches (bugs) hidden within computer programs or applications.
DEBUG NEPHEMEE is an adventure game where you "debug" a bug-infested world inhabited by creatures called "Nephemee."
However, in this world, "bugs" and "debugging" are more than just technical concepts. They are like... curing a disease that afflicts the Nephemee!
Resist the Bugs, Fulfill Your Mission
One day, a strange phenomenon known as the "Bug" struck the world where the Nephemee live. It corrodes and destroys everything—towns, houses, and the Nephemee themselves.
Amidst the chaos, a mysterious Nephemee named "Cofa" awakens with amnesia. The only thing Cofa remembers is a single mission: "Save the Nephemee."
In this world, certain Nephemee carry a "Mission." Often viewed as a curse or an illness, a Mission acts like an irresistible obsession that drives a Nephemee forward.
To prevent the Nephemee from being trapped forever in a bug-ridden world, Cofa embarks on a "debugging" journey to fulfill the mission of saving them all.
Start your journey by exploring "Nephelme," a bug-infested world, on a top-down RPG map.
When you encounter or get attacked by a glitched Nephemee, use the "DNI" (Debug Nephemee Interface)—a system embedded inside Cofa—to connect with them and perform a debug.
A Multitasking Battle System Across 4 Screens!
To debug a Nephemee, you must first hack into them. Hack the Nephemee using a multitasking system where you control four screens simultaneously! You can launch attacks by utilizing the connected Nephemee's "likes" and "dislikes."
Once hacking is complete, it's time to debug! Fix the Nephemee's bugs across 5 distinct modules: Body, Heart Rate, Emotion, Identification, and Memory!
