Build an army capable of surviving the impossible

Taste of Blood is an army-building roguelite with tactical real-time combat. Recruit units through cards, combine powerful upgrades, and command vast armies against increasingly dangerous waves of enemies.

Every defeated enemy rewards you with gold. Between waves, spend it on new unit cards or on strengthening the troops you already command. You can keep buying cards as long as you have enough gold, but you will need to decide carefully how to invest it.

Decisions that shape every run

Units provide immediate power, while upgrades multiply the strength of your entire army. The available cards change with every run, forcing you to adapt your strategy and discover new combinations.

One good decision can transform your formation into an unstoppable force. A poor investment can leave you without the power needed to survive the next wave.

Post-run upgrades

Earn Crimson Seals during your runs and spend them to unlock permanent upgrades. These upgrades will aid you in future attempts and allow you to return with a more powerful army.

The Price of Power

When your army is pushed to its limit, a loan can provide the gold you need to turn the tide of battle. Reinforce your ranks, acquire new upgrades, and claim tomorrow's power today.

But every advantage comes at a price. A loan can save your run at the decisive moment or turn a poor investment into a debt that is difficult to repay. You decide how much you are willing to risk.
