Ile d'Or

Overview

Ile d'Or is a maritime trading simulation game in which you earn funds through trade, gather companions, and strengthen your own fleet. Destroy the fortresses of hostile factions, invest in port towns, and report the discoveries made on land expeditions to gain Influence with each nation and aim for supremacy over the seas.

Captain Registry

Begin by registering your Captain. Choose your name, faction name, occupation, appearance and colors.

Home Port

Choose the faction you like from nine available factions. Your choice changes the story and your relationships with the other factions.

Trade

Buy local specialty goods and sell them in other towns to earn silver. Goods a port town lacks, or specialties in high demand, fetch correspondingly higher prices.

Battle

Fight hostile factions and Bounties to obtain ship parts, equipment, and clues to exploration sites.

Shipbuilding

To fight powerful enemies, you need powerful ships. Shipbuilding consumes a great deal of materials, so keep gathering them through land expeditions and by converting trade goods.

Expeditions

Gather the materials you need for shipbuilding while searching for clues to hidden treasure. Report the treasures you discover to the Governor's Office to gain Influence and precious gold.
