About

The Tower does not care why you came. It has swallowed paladins, thieves, and scholars. It has taken the proud and the desperate - you cannot win, adventurer.

Somewhere above the twenty-first floor, something still waits — and a demon in your ear will help you reach it, if you are foolish enough to listen.

Tower of Eglathia is a turn-based traditional roguelike: one life, a new tower every run, and every prayer, potion, and step a bet you might not get to make twice.

Choose who you were before the door. Choose Barbarian, Mystic, Assassin, or the forbidden Eglathian bloodline. Then climb until the floor — or the demon — takes you. Inspired by the dark-fantasy world of Eglathia.

Four Paths. Fifty Abilities. One Life.

  • Barbarian — Crush enemies with raw strength and brutal melee power.
  • Mystic — Master devastating spells, shields, and elemental fury.
  • Assassin — Strike from shadows with precision, poison, and deadly speed.
  • Eglathian — Channel ancient bloodline powers that blend magic and martial prowess.

Mix trees or master one. Spell-slinging berserker, shadow mage, or pure Eglathian — the tower does not grade on style.

The Tower Itself

  • 21+ floors of escalating danger, procedurally generated every run
  • 60+ unique monsters — kobolds and evil eyes through mature dragons and demon generals
  • Hundreds of items — enchanted weapons, armor, scrolls, potions, wands, rings, amulets, artifacts
  • Turn-based tactical combat — position, resources, and one more step
  • Difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Doom
  • Hardcore permadeath — glory is earned; the Wall of Heroes keeps the receipts

Risk Everything

  • Altars — pray for favor, donate for magic, or desecrate for riches. Divine wrath is not a rumor
  • Fountains — liquids that heal, harm, or grant power you may not understand until you drink
  • Scrolls and wands — one-use spells and tools with charges
  • Potions — drink, throw, or pour. Identification is part of the fight

Version 2.0

  • Eglathian skill tree — 15+ hybrid abilities (Shadow Bolt, Triune Convergence, Blade Echo, and more)
  • Class specialization bonuses at levels 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20
  • 29 Steam Achievements
  • Wall of Heroes — Hardcore runs, legendary and embarrassing
  • Quests and lore — demons, ghosts, and the tower’s unfinished business

The demon whispers. The floors never repeat. The Wall of Heroes remembers who made it — and who didn’t. The Tower of Eglathia is still standing. Most who entered it are not. Eglathia, the novel, is available on Amazon.
