About

Beneath the fortress walls, the crowd gathers for the joust.

The Lists VR puts you on the tournament field in 15th-century Europe. Take up your lance, customize your knight, and compete through full tournament brackets using physical movement, timing, and accuracy.

Built for VR

Your lance is controlled through natural motion. Aim, adjust, and brace during the charge, with your timing and positioning determining where the strike lands.

Full Tournament Brackets

Compete through complete tournaments against skilled npc opponents, advancing from the opening rounds all the way to the final.

Global Leaderboards

Submit your tournament scores to a global leaderboard, compare your performance with other players, and return to improve your ranking.

Knight Customization

Customize your knight with thousands of possible combinations, including:

  • Different helmets
  • Heraldry
  • Colors
  • Equipment variations

Scoring

Points are awarded based on where your lance strikes. Shield, body, and helmet hits carry different values, with the result shown by flags raised in the grandstand.

Training

Practice your aim and lance control against the quintain before entering a tournament.

Historical Setting

The tournament takes place beneath Fortress Hohensalzburg in Salzburg around 1410.

Much of the equipment is based on real historical pieces, with a number of objects recreated from photoscans of surviving artifacts. Tournament tents, heraldic banners, spectators, and period-inspired details help ground the setting in the material culture of the time.
