Inspired by real-world mycology and ecosystems
Developed by solo indie developer and mycology enthusiast Jake Collinge, the mechanics are inspired by real mushroom ecology:
- Eat detritus ‘waste’ material
- Parasitize opponent mushrooms
- Grow above and below ground
- Seek out Humus, Nitrogen and other resources
- React to the environment: wind direction, humidity and soil quality
- Defend your underground territory
- Cut off opponent resources
- …and much more
