COMBAT PILOT is a new, hardcore combat flight simulator set in WWII, built from scratch.

Get ready to experience the most detailed models ever created for pacific war aircraft and naval operations in a video-game. Combat Pilot also has clickable cockpits and state of the art flight mechanics, built by an aircraft design team using modern tools like Computational Fluid Mechanics.

This base game is a FREE entry-level demo to embark on your career as a COMBAT PILOT. It includes the legendary F4F-3 US carrier-based fighter to be flown in the land base of Midway Atoll, the epicentre of one of the most important naval battles in history.

Modern Game Engine

Combat Pilot is the first hardcore flight-simulator to harness the power and flexibility of Unreal Engine 5. We have combined our own proprietary flight and physics engine (EntropyFM), our own proprietary input systems, VR systems and more - all coupled with a modified UE5 platform to not make it not only the world’s leading game engine, but also a truly modern flight-sim engine. We are not bound by legacy game engine limitations.

• Physically-based soundscape. Every fly-by is made up of the real aircraft engine recordings, with all the realistic sound effects. Real Doppler shift, speed of sound propagation, enclosed muffling and so much more.
• Engineering-grade engine modelling, with advanced thermodynamic simulation and realistic engine damage based on component fatigue, mechanical and thermal stresses.
