About

RX10-40 is a third-person shooter set in an industrial zone emptied of people. On a high-speed battlefield with no vertical aim, gun down swarms of rampaging robots. Close in on whoever sent the invitation, and put an end to this festival no one cheers for.

An invitation addressed to humanity. But there is almost no one left to open it.

Oh, yes.

Declining, it seems, is not one of the options.

Features

  • A horizontal-only reticle. You cannot aim up or down.
  • Combat built around a gun, a stun baton, a shield and a dodge.
  • Super Attacks, unleashed once your Action Points fill up.
  • Level up instantly with every game over. Retry instantly.
  • An original soundtrack.
  • Three difficulty levels and aim assist, so you can get through even if your aim isn't great.

Story

Humanity surrendered all labor to the machines.

And then it vanished, never having found a use for the freedom it had won.

In an industrial zone no one ever returns to, the machines are working still.

In time they multiplied, learned weapons, and then learned play.

August 23, 2063.

An invitation arrives for the last of humankind.

— Pilot a robot. Join the game.

The project is called RX10-40.
