On July 14, 1985, something will happen in Midline. You don't know what. You only know you have five days and a phone. Every call is a life. Every decision brings ███████ closer or pushes it away. The E.D.A.T. terminal will show you how it all ends if you don't fix the situation.
Midline '85 is an interactive thriller about the work of an emergency dispatcher in an American small town, where every call is a choice, and every choice is someone's fate. You have no name. You have no █████ ██ ███████. There are two handlers who contradict each other, an E.D.A.T. terminal, and five days until ███████.
Face panic, horror, and human cruelty. Break the rules and watch the consequences. Someone may have to be sacrificed, and someone must survive. The ending depends only on you.
E.D.A.T. shows what was, what could have been, and what will be if you do nothing. It hints at how to act so that Sunday, July 14, goes differently. Receive orders from your superiors, study the presentation with tips for operators, or dive into the █████ of the system.
Remember: the more you dig into the past, the less you'll understand the present and make sense of the future. Over time, fragments begin to form a complete picture. And the picture becomes a verdict. Or a chance to save the city.
The terminal sits on your desk: it takes calls, gathers addresses, builds maps, and gives predictions you couldn't have known. After each call, you'll see what happened to those you ███████. Someone will come home. Someone won't. Someone will come back █████.
These predictions may defy logic. They cannot explain why things happened the way they did. They simply show. And raise the question: could it have been done differently? The terminal doesn't answer.
E.D.A.T. awaits the next █████. You cannot change what has already happened. But you can change what will happen.
Time works against you: you can't pause the call on █████, nor █████ what has been said. Each choice has a time limit — and when it runs out, the decision won't be yours anymore. Gather the address from fragments and avoid mistakes, or else the patrol may go to a completely different █████.

████████ sends tasks through the terminal and demands you follow the manual. ██████ intrudes on the line without warning and asks for things not in the manual. Both call themselves your supervisors. Both give advice — how to act, whom to trust, and what to sacrifice. Both may ████████.
Sometimes their advice aligns. Sometimes it directly contradicts. In those moments, you're left alone with the decision — and the thought that one of them knows more about Midline than they're saying. Who to trust is up to you. And you'll have to remember this decision until the very end.
