About

What exactly is the power of the one true* ring *sword?

Part Chip’s Challenge, part Zelda, part Monkey Island, and all heavy metal, this cursed, solo-developed adventure plays like the bargain-bin handheld gem you missed as a kid.

Push crates! Attack chickens! Attack more chickens! They're gaining on us, slaughter the damn chooks!

  • Brain-Melting Puzzles: World uncovering, crate pushing, boulder rolling, meandering puzzle dungeons.
  • Metal in a 90's way: Obnoxious vocal stingers and cheesy 16-bit F-Zero riffs aplenty.
  • Custom Engine: Featuring fluid, realistic chicken slaughter for 3–5 hours, packed into under 30MB.
  • Deep Content: Sharp combat, hidden endings, customisable difficulty, and hundreds of secrets.

Redeem your birthright (maybe) and defeat the Blacklord (even maybier) in perhaps the only 3D game, engine, art and soundtrack ever attempted by a single person - which must be worth a look, right? Did I mention you fight chooks?

When a blacksmith’s birthright is stolen by evil Blacklords, he must draw upon the might of some sword...

It matters not that he knows not what the sword is - all he knows is that his sword has a power that is apparent and indisputable. Is it the power to slice? To dice, cut things, or be sheathed? Who can say? You. Or him, if you'd rather - if you / he can work that out and bring the Blacklord to justice.

It’s full of puzzles, chuckles, and tough combat. Or cruisy combat, if you’d prefer. It’s the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon or an intense Sunday evening.

The free update, The Extended Edition, brings a nearly twice-as-big world with tonnes of extra puzzles, secrets, endings, enemies, jokes, story elements, quality-of-life improvements, movement and combat tweaks, and improvements to graphics and sound.
