The Tainted Lands is a 2D turn-based tactical RPG inspired by classic RPGs.

At the northeastern edge of the civilized world, the rugged mountain ranges have long been known as the Forbidden Lands. Harboring the secrets of an ancient dark age, this territory was once the forbidden domain of guardians known as the 'Avatara.' But now, it is a wasteland stalked by adventurers and tomb robbers.

You are a wanderer tainted by a unknown curse, crawling into this death trap in search of a cure. But surviving this unforgiving land alone is impossible. Only those who forge their ranks with blood, steel, and ruthless tactics can endure the brutal expedition.

Assemble a party of flawed but hardened adventurers willing to risk it all. Traverse uncharted territories where Outer Beings lie sealed, stand against twisted monsters, and unearth eldritch relics buried beneath strange ruins.

And in the end, confront the dark truth lurking at the very bottom of this Tainted Lands.

  <The Tainted Lands> traces the path of the "Tainted One"—a broken man unwillingly chosen by an Outer God. Yet, it is you who shapes this path and its conclusion. The choices you make through countless events will gradually mold him into something else, ultimately leading to entirely different fates.

  The weight of these choices is forced upon you even on the battlefield. Will you risk your life to rescue a captive maiden, or leave her to die to secure your victory? The decisions you make in combat will completely alter the faces the world and your companions show you.
