Sky On Fire : 1940

Sky On Fire is a multi-platform single-player WW2 combat flight simulator with versatile controls, a realistic module based damage model, multi crew, in a sandbox environment. The game is highly optimized and will run on any device, even those without a GPU.

A single player focused flight sim.

Sky On Fire is a single player only game. You can fly in quick sandbox missions that you can setup in seconds. You can challenge yourself against higher bots difficulties, numbers, and by letting them fly better airplanes. A large map of The Channel is available with several airfields, ship convoys, ground targets, anti aircraft emplacements.

On release, several linear campaigns & a Dynamic Campaign system are planned.

A complete mission editor and a user made missions on Steam Workshop is planned

Fly the way you want.

The game supports every type of controls imaginable. Whether you play Mouse & Keyboard, with a full HOTAS system or a gamepad, you will get a good experience. it has a powerful rebinding system that support axes, a curve editor, toggle and hold mode for buttons. Support for TrackIR and VR are planned.

Realistic flight and damage model, yet accessible.

Sky On Fire follows the accessible sim approach. Sim elements that are relevant to gameplay are kept, but the ones that are just extra workload or require reading documentation are discarded. The game uses realistic airfoil physics, surfaces compress at high speed, engine power levels and superchargers are accurate to real life. The damage model is on par with the most realistic flight sims on PC.

A varied and authentical aircrafts roaster.

It has a roaster of 16 airplanes from the western European 1940 theater, including the Spitfire, Hurricane, Bf 109, He 111, Dewoitine 520. Mostly combat airplanes, fighters & bombers. It even has some less represented aircrafts like the Boulton Paul Defiant and Morane Saulnier 406. It also includes 2 DLCs :

-Sky On Fire 1944 with famous USAAF aircrafts like the P-51, P-38, P-47 as well as the Fw 190

-The workshop with experimental aircrafts like the Twinfire and the Bf A10.
