Dragon Kingdom is a cozy farming and life-sim RPG about restoring a forgotten farm, raising a dragon companion, and helping a kingdom rediscover the bond it once shared with dragons.
What begins as a quiet attempt to rebuild an abandoned piece of land becomes a five-year journey of farming, friendship, exploration, and restoration.
Tend your crops. Care for animals. Get to know the people of the kingdom. Explore the forest and mines. Watch the seasons change, weather reshape your routine, and your farm slowly come back to life.
And through it all, raise a dragon who grows alongside you.
Early in your journey, you discover a mysterious dragon egg hidden within a ruined shelter on the farm.
Choose from five dragon colors, each with its own personality and way of helping around the farm.
Your dragon can follow you, roam the farm, react to the world around it, build a bond with you, and grow from baby to teen to adult.
As your relationship deepens, your dragon becomes more than a farm helper. Eventually, it can explore the mine and fight beside you as a true companion.
Your farm begins worn down and neglected.
Clear debris, till the soil, plant crops, water your fields, harvest what you grow, care for livestock, improve buildings, and slowly transform the property into a thriving home.
Progress is meant to be visible.
Restoration changes more than numbers on a menu. As the story advances, the farm, river, forest, weather, mine, dialogue, and atmosphere begin to reflect the care you have put into the world.
The year is divided into four seasons:
Bloomtide, Suncrest, Emberfall, and Frostveil.
Each season brings new crops, weather, routines, festivals, and opportunities.
Rain automatically waters outdoor crops. Severe storms may keep you inside for the day. Magical weather can leave unusual changes behind.
Every day asks a simple question:
What matters most today?
You might spend the morning tending crops, visit town in the afternoon, explore the forest, check on your animals, work on relationships, or head into the mine before returning home to sleep and begin again.
Dragon Kingdom is home to a permanent cast of characters with their own roles, schedules, birthdays, preferences, and stories.
Build friendships, complete requests, attend festivals, discover personal events, and form deeper relationships over time.
For players who want it, romance, commitment, marriage, and family life are part of the larger journey.
Relationships are designed to grow alongside the rest of the game rather than pull you away from farming and exploration.
Farming is built around direct control and readable actions.
Till soil, plant seeds, water crops, harvest produce, improve your tools, use makers, and eventually automate parts of your routine with better equipment and sprinklers.
Crop growth happens overnight, and dry crops simply stop growing rather than immediately becoming a harsh punishment.
Dragon Kingdom is designed around gentle daily care, not durability chores or punishment spirals.
Tools and weapons do not break, your dragon cannot permanently leave you, and accessibility options never reduce your rewards or progression.
Restore a barn and coop, then raise animals including:
Feed and pet your animals, collect products, build friendship, improve your farm buildings, and eventually breed new generations.
Animals never die or permanently leave due to neglect, keeping care meaningful without making it stressful.
When you want a break from the farm, head north toward the mountain mine.
The full mine contains 100 floors divided into five themed regions, with handcrafted rooms assembled into exploratory runs.
Fight readable enemy archetypes, gather ore and materials, discover story clues, unlock checkpoints, and eventually face five powerful guardians tied to the kingdom's broken magical anchors.
Combat is intentionally straightforward and readable, with clear telegraphs, simple weapon choices, and your adult dragon fighting beside you.
Long ago, humans and dragons worked together to maintain a magical seal that kept the region in balance.
Over generations, people forgot their part in that responsibility, trust broke down, and dragons disappeared.
Your journey unfolds across five in-game years:
Year 1 - Soil and Stone
Restore the farm and uncover the first signs of the forgotten seal.
Year 2 - Water and Rainfall
Help heal the river and rebuild the region's connection to water.
Year 3 - Heat and Storm
Face growing magical instability as your dragon reaches adulthood.
Year 4 - Frost, Wind, and Forest
Restore balance to the forest and changing seasons.
Year 5 - The Combined Seal Core
Bring together everything you have restored and help create a new future for humans and dragons.
The story is not about defeating an evil villain.
It is about repairing a system that failed because cooperation was forgotten.
Alongside farming and relationships, you can also:
The main story does not require perfect completion.
You do not need to marry, catch every fish, master every recipe, win every contest, or complete every optional system to reach the canonical ending.
Dragon Kingdom is built around steady progress and visible change.
The farm becomes healthier.
The kingdom becomes more connected.
Your relationships deepen.
Your dragon grows.
And over five years, the quiet routines of everyday life become part of something much larger.
Restore the land. Raise your dragon. Help the kingdom remember what was lost.
