About

You’ve woken up in an alien world, with your memory wiped clean. Set out to recover fragments of your past and chart a path home.

To travel this realm, you must learn its language. Explore a living galaxy, with wild nature, ancient relics, curious nomads, and a talking star. Harness the features of your environment, using orbital motion, atmospheric pressure, and the forces of the cosmos to propel yourself into the unknown. Learn new skills through open-ended exploration: Can you travel quickly from one planet to another? Can you reach targets under the ocean? Can you survive without starlight?

A network of “orbital puzzles” stretches across distant locations on your path. Decipher their cryptic rules to access new, undiscovered worlds.

The way is blocked by the forces of an extreme and hostile cosmos: solar storms, plasma rays, asteroid waves, giant lasers... Think fast, and use your energy wisely.

With physics-based mechanics, atmospheric design, and an abstract 2.5-D style, Solaro offers an alternate take on space exploration. Created by a solo developer, the game features over a hundred puzzles and challenges, hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations and custom sounds, unique collectibles, and an original score that narrates your journey.
